Plenty of celebrities put their names on bottles. Mariah Carey actually spent two years developing hers. Black Irish Original Irish Cream launched in 2021, named in honor of her Irish and Black heritage, and it has the hardware to back up the star power: a Double Gold medal at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition.
Black Irish is crafted in Ireland with aged Irish whiskey, Irish dairy cream and natural flavors. The Original is the one that started it all, and it's the purest expression of the brand. The Whiskey Wash picked up malted milk balls, caramel apple and cocoa on the nose, followed by toasted marshmallow, milk chocolate and cooked caramel on the palate. It's rich and creamy with a gentle whiskey warmth underneath, and the finish lands softly on milk chocolate.
Look for Mariah's "MC" and a small butterfly on the cap, a nod to her iconic Butterfly album. It's a fun detail on a bottle that already looks great on any bar cart.
